It seems like the main problem is the models, yes the characters are the main problem for the lag. A little lession about 3d art, when you make a model you have what is called polygon and together they make what is called polygon mesh. This makes the human looks, next is the UV mapping, the colors with the poygon mesh.
So what do these two have to do with lag?
Well too much poly mesh means the more resources it needs to run within that engine. Too much Poly mesh with UV-mapping equals way too much resources then it needs. By having less polygon mesh the game can run faster. I also think the UV-mapping can be lowered to 80% on all their models without any real changes on the looks.
What should you do?
Ask Mihoyo to lower their 3D polygon mesh on all models and also to lower the UV-mapping too.
Why should you care?
It is almost impossable to play the game in a phone, it requires too much resources. I tried to play this game in many emulators the results were as follows:
Bluestacks: Requires entery level pc to play normally, it can be played in a average 4GB computer but lags.
Nox: It can not normally played on average computers, their ads are most of the reasons for lag. It needs more than 4GB to play the game.
Android 86x: No wifi bug exist, you need to menual install it on a VM. Due to many possabiltys like USB and my abilty to unable to get it working, i do not know the results.
Memu: Super lags, reason can be many number of things.
Droid4x: Uses android 4.0.4 not 4.4, it was not possable to run HI3.
Andy: Their GPU miner caused so much lag.
Phoenix OS: Too many users downloading it on Google Drive and Mega Downloader needs sign-up. Reports say its not any better than Nox or Bluestacks.
Anbox: Don't know, I have not been able to make it work.
Youwave: Superlag, trial version did not make it better.
KO Player: Lag, no changes since 2018.
PrimeOS: Requires to give up part of your hard drive to run it and that is a big no.
Leapdroid: It runs but you need more ram to run the game normally. It also is rooted, you can not change it.
LD Player: No real changes, same problems like Bluestacks.
Windroy: Broken beyond fix.
