PS5 is better than Xbox Series X
Which is why Sony has been polling 3/1 in who's buying what console. In fact more people are buying ps5 than XSX and CSS combined. I believe actually ps4 is selling more than XSX but I may be wrong there. And is that why Microsoft gained such a big jump when they fixed they problems people complained about (like I'm telling you to do now) oh wait they did make changes but still got fucking wrecked in sales. Even Microsoft knows it's over and isn't trying to compete with Sony anymore but "Google and Amazon" because we all know how successful prime gaming has been and how beloved stadia is. Of course a console giant is going to beat out whatever side project Google and Amazon have because it's a side project to them and a forefront for Microsofts gaming department. But Sony is entirely focused on entertainment as they have been and it shows when they have far superior looking games on inferior hardware and have better overall customer retention. You can fanboy all you want but Microsoft is hemorrhaging money to make game pass a thing and trying to give away consoles in a sense along with it, it won't last games will be taken off of it and it will increase in price, people will feel cheated and hate the direction Microsoft tried to move in with making games like Netflix instead of like a fucking console that you own games for. Also don't know why people are ok with Xbox having a proprietary storage expansion ensuring it will cost more just like Sony did with memory cards back in the day but people were livid then and just fine now. Series S having less than 500 gb when call of duty will take up half of that and to double the storage will cost you as much as a series X after all is said and done. Microsoft is going to fail hard, calling it now.

Serious question about crossplay that would be best answered prior to launch of the next gen consoles. Will crossplay be optional or forced?
Crossplay is, generally, great! And credit Sony for giving players what they wanted, when Xbox refused to during the previous generation (Xbox 360 versus PS3).
Also, credit Sony for some (likely) foresight into issues facing crossplay in competitive gaming, particularly, first person shooters.
There has been numerous complaints about PC cheating in games such as Fortnite, Call of Duty (Warzone and Modern Warfare), and other FPS games with crossplay. The worst of which is the Call of Duty titles, imo.
Why should we pay $70 for a game that is infested with, and ruined by, cheaters within a few weeks of purchase? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pcgamesn.com/call-of-duty-warzone/cheaters-crossplay%3famp
Solution: Sony has given us the option to turn off crossplay and a match is usually populated. Meanwhile, Microsoft (Xbox)also does, however, doing so generally does not give you the ability to actually generate a match. Either because the population is too low, or Microsoft actually doesn’t want you to disable crossplay. In that regards, crossplay is forced on Xbox.
Many Xbox gamers are turning to PC or PS5 as a result. They are tired of the cheating and they have no other option.
While many of you say this is the game developers problem, I agree. However, I am also happy that Sony has given us a safeguard should companies ignore their obligations. The ultimate wish is that we can choose to enable full crossplay, console only crossplay, or disable crossplay altogether.
Edit: I don’t understand why there is this hysterical downvoting when it comes to crossplay questions.
For those that are saying that it’s the developers decision are just shouting their opinion at the top of their lungs and then downvoting.
THE FACT IS (Quoting Howson79). If Sony can say no to all crossplay, then they can certainly say no to a developer over forced crossplay. Both Sony and Microsoft have far and above the clout needed to swat down a developer and its publisher over online functionality concerning their console version. It's a question of willingness, not capability.
Additionally, I am almost certain that if crossplay degraded user experience on console, you bet Sony wouldn’t be happy.
